From birth, he shared fragments of his soul with others, granting them power and reclaiming it upon their deaths to strengthen himself. As a ruler, Yhwach is ruthless and visionary, seeking to destroy the cycle of life and death to create a unified world under his control. During the Thousand-Year Blood War, he invades Soul Society, slays the Soul King, and attempts to merge all realms into one. However, his ambitions are ended when Ichigo Kurosaki, aided by Sosuke Aizen and Uryu Ishida, defeats him in a decisive final battle.

Jugram Haschwalth is the grandmaster of the Sternritter and the right-hand advisor to Emperor Yhwach. He wields the Schrift “B — The Balance”, which allows him to absorb misfortune and redirect it onto others. Calm, disciplined, and calculating, Haschwalth is loyal to Yhwach while quietly contemplating his own role and identity. During the Thousand-Year Blood War, he leads Sternritter forces and battles the Gotei 13, using his abilities to great strategic effect. He briefly shares access to “The Almighty,” but loses it when Yhwach invokes Auswählen. Haschwalth is gravely injured by Uryu Ishida during the conflict, leaving his ultimate fate uncertain.

Lille Barro is a member of the Sternritter and serves as one of Emperor Yhwach’s elite warriors. He holds the designation “X — The X‑Axis”, which allows him to fire attacks that pierce anything in a straight line and become intangible by opening both eyes. Arrogant and fanatically loyal, Lille sees himself as a perfect instrument of Yhwach’s will. During the Thousand-Year Blood War, he leads attacks against the Soul King’s palace and battles the Gotei 13. Despite his power, he is critically wounded when one of his own attacks is reflected back at him. His abilities are stripped after the battle, leaving his ultimate fate unclear.

Askin Nakk Le Vaar is a member of the Sternritter and serves as one of Emperor Yhwach’s elite warriors. He holds the designation “D — The Deathdealing”, which allows him to calculate and manipulate lethal doses of substances to harm or kill his opponents. Calm, sardonic, and highly intelligent, Askin treats battles like scientific experiments and often mocks his enemies. During the Thousand-Year Blood War, he uses poison and other deadly attacks to confront members of the Gotei 13. Despite his clever tactics, he is ultimately defeated and killed by Kisuke Urahara, who pierces his heart during their confrontation.

Pernida Parnkgjas is a member of the Sternritter and serves as one of Emperor Yhwach’s elite Schutzstaffel warriors. It holds the designation “C — The Compulsory”, allowing it to extend and control its nerves to manipulate or harm opponents. Pernida is calm, relentless, and mysterious, later revealed to be the severed left arm of the Soul King. During the Thousand-Year Blood War, it battles and severely injures Kenpachi Zaraki while attacking other members of the Gotei 13. Despite its regenerative abilities, it is ultimately defeated by Mayuri Kurotsuchi, who destabilizes its body using a scientific trap.

Gerard Valkyrie is a Quincy and member of the Sternritter, serving as the Heart of the Soul King. He holds the designation “M — The Miracle”, allowing him to turn damage into increased size and strength, effectively making him nearly invincible. Overconfident and aggressive, Gerard relishes overwhelming his opponents with sheer power. During the Thousand-Year Blood War, he fights the Gotei 13 and grows larger as his abilities manifest. Despite his strength, he is ultimately defeated when Yhwach activates Auswählen and absorbs his power. His abilities vanish with that absorption, leaving his existence nullified.

Uryu Ishida is a Quincy archer from Karakura Town and one of the last surviving members of his clan. He holds the designation “A — The Antithesis”, personally bestowed by Emperor Yhwach. Chosen as Yhwach’s successor, Ishida joins the Wandenreich to uncover the truth behind his mother’s death and the Quincy’s fate. He wields a spirit bow, manipulating reishi in battle and using the Seele Schneider for close combat. Calm, serious, and proud of his heritage, he eventually rebels against Yhwach to protect his friends and the balance between worlds. During the Thousand-Year Blood War, he aids the Gotei 13 while confronting powerful Sternritter. He survives the war and remains an ally to both humans and Soul Society, reflecting loyalty, growth, and the struggle between duty and morality.

Bambietta Basterbine is a Quincy warrior of the Sternritter with the designation “E – The Explode”, serving under Emperor Yhwach in the Wandenreich. Her ability lets her turn anything touched by her reiatsu into a bomb, making her extremely dangerous in battle. Sadistic and flamboyant, she leads the all‑female “Bambies” squad and revels in destruction. During the Thousand‑Year Blood War she fights against the Gotei 13 and battles Sajin Komamura, who defeats her by exploiting a weakness in her ability. After being gravely wounded she is killed by Giselle Gewelle and turned into a zombie under Giselle’s control. As a zombie, her will is stripped and she is used as a tool rather than a warrior.

As Nodt is a member of the Sternritter and serves under Emperor Yhwach, bearing the designation “F — The Fear”, which lets him infect enemies with paralyzing, irrational terror through wounds or eye contact. Cold, philosophical, and obsessed with fear itself, he often taunts opponents about their own mortality. He steals Byakuya Kuchiki’s Bankai to increase his threat and attacks many Shinigami during the conflict. During the Thousand-Year Blood War, he battles Byakuya and later confronts Rukia Kuchiki. He is ultimately defeated when Rukia activates her Bankai, Hakka no Togame, which freezes and shatters him.

Liltotto Lamperd is a Quincy and member of the Sternritter in the Wandenreich with the designation “G — The Glutton”. Her ability lets her consume virtually anything, even other abilities, granting her temporary access to them. Petite and blunt, Liltotto shows a cruel sense of humour, often commenting on the “taste” of her opponents and insulting even her allies. In the Thousand‑Year Blood War she fights alongside the Bambies, attacks Shinigami and recognises Ichigo Kurosaki when others do not. She later rebels against the Wandenreich leadership after witnessing the Auswählen and its betrayal of her comrades. Although she survives that purge, her full fate remains uncertain. Liltotto’s story emphasises the hunger for power and the consequences of being used by greater forces.

Bazz‑B is a Quincy and member of the Sternritter, serving under Emperor Yhwach with the designation “H — The Heat”. His ability allows him to generate and control intense flames, using them to attack opponents and manipulate reishi. Hot-headed and merciless, Bazz-B is proud and fiercely loyal to Yhwach while maintaining a complicated bond with Jugram Haschwalth. During the Thousand-Year Blood War, he fights the Gotei 13 and clashes with Captain Toshiro Hitsugaya. Despite his power, he is ultimately defeated by Jugram Haschwalth and collapses from his injuries.

Cang Du is a Quincy and member of the Sternritter, serving under Emperor Yhwach with the designation “I — The Iron”. His ability allows him to harden his body like steel and use reishi claws in close combat. Stoic, proud, and loyal, Cang Du values duty and believes in shared fate with his comrades. During the Thousand-Year Blood War, he steals Toshiro Hitsugaya’s Bankai and battles him, severely wounding Rangiku Matsumoto in the process. Despite his strength, he is ultimately defeated and executed by Jugram Haschwalth.

Quilge Opie is a Quincy and executive hunting captain of the Sternritter, serving under Emperor Yhwach with the designation “J — The Jail”. His ability allows him to create unbreakable spirit cages to trap opponents and seal dimensional gateways. Authoritative, ruthless, and proud, Quilge enforces his will without mercy. During the Thousand-Year Blood War, he fights Ichigo Kurosaki and uses his Vollstandig form and absorption powers to attack. Despite his strength, he is ultimately defeated and killed by Grimmjow Jaegerjaquez.

BG9 is a Quincy and member of the Sternritter under Emperor Yhwach with the designation “K”. His mechanical body is equipped with a spirit minigun and hidden tendrils that can attack and extract information from opponents. Cold, analytic, and ruthless, BG9 values intelligence gathering above mercy and often threatens innocents to achieve his goals. During the invasion of Soul Society, he steals Soi-Fong’s Bankai and uses it against her in battle. Despite his self-repair abilities, he is ultimately defeated and executed by Jugram Haschwalth.

PePe Waccabrada is a Quincy and member of the Sternritter, holding the designation “L — The Love”. His ability lets him fire heart‑shaped spirit projectiles that cause those struck to become obsessively infatuated and obey him. Narcissistic, manipulative, and sadistic, PePe delights in turning others against each other for his amusement. During the Thousand‑Year Blood War he forces Shuhei Hisagi to attack Byakuya Kuchiki and attempts to control Meninas McAllon against Liltotto. He is ultimately devoured and killed by Liltotto after losing control, unable to affect beings who cannot feel love.

Robert Accutrone is a Quincy and member of the Sternritter under Emperor Yhwach, holding the designation “N”. He wields a reishi pistol and can use Quincy: Vollständig “Grimaniel” to enhance his speed and firepower. Stoic, dutiful, and loyal, Robert questions the expendability of Sternritter under Auswählen. His ability lets him grow stronger with each kill, absorbing power from those he defeats. Brutal, sadistic, and remorseless, Driscoll revels in slaughter and seeks to prove his strength. During the Thousand-Year Blood War he attacks Shinigami, steals Chojiro Sasakibe’s Bankai, and battles Hisagi. Despite his power, he is ultimately defeated and incinerated by Genryusai Yamamoto.

Meninas McAllon is a Quincy and member of the Sternritter under Emperor Yhwach with the designation “P — The Power”. Her ability lets her enlarge her muscles and gain superhuman strength to overpower opponents. Cheerful but ruthless, Meninas enjoys destruction while often underestimating her foes. During the Thousand-Year Blood War, she attacks Soul Society and battles alongside the Bambies. She is manipulated by PePe Waccabrada and forced to strike Liltotto Lamperd. Later, she is zombified by Giselle Gewelle and loses her autonomy.

Berenice Gabrielli is a Quincy and member of the Sternritter under Emperor Yhwach with the designation “Q — The Question”. His ability lets him force opponents to respond to his “objections,” though its full potential is unclear. Arrogant and talkative, Berenice often underestimates his foes while boasting. During the Thousand-Year Blood War, he attacks Soul Society alongside Jerome Guizbatt and Loyd Lloyd. He is ultimately killed by Kenpachi Zaraki, who rips out his throat.

Jerome Guizbatt is a Quincy and member of the Sternritter under Emperor Yhwach with the designation “R — The Roar”. His ability lets him transform into a giant ape-like form and unleash powerful sonic shockwaves. Muscular, intimidating, and feral, Jerome attacks with overwhelming force. During the Thousand-Year Blood War, he battles Captain Kenpachi Zaraki. Despite his strength, he is ultimately cut in half and killed by Kenpachi.

Mask De Masculine is a Quincy and member of the Sternritter under Emperor Yhwach with the designation “S — The Superstar”. His ability lets him convert cheers and applause into power, enhancing his strength and stamina. Boastful and theatrical, Mask treats battles like performances and craves attention. During the Thousand-Year Blood War, he fights Kensei Muguruma, Rose Otoribashi, and Renji Abarai. Despite his power and Vollstandig form, he is ultimately defeated and killed by Renji using his perfected Bankai.

Candice Catnipp is a Quincy and member of the Sternritter, serving under Emperor Yhwach with the designation “T — The Thunderbolt”. Her ability allows her to control and project lightning, using a spirit bow and electric‑based attacks. Impulsive, temperamental, and obsessed with her appearance, Candice cares deeply about her hair and gets enraged when she is dirtied or injured. During the Thousand‑Year Blood War she fights multiple Shinigami, loses an arm in combat, and is later zombified by Giselle Gewelle. Despite her power, she is defeated by Captain Byakuya Kuchiki.

NaNaNa Najahkoop is a Quincy and member of the Sternritter under Emperor Yhwach with the designation “U — The Underbelly”. His ability lets him analyze a target’s reiatsu and exploit weak points using the Morphine Pattern. Arrogant, calculating, and observant, NaNaNa often criticizes others while waiting for openings. During the Thousand-Year Blood War, he ambushes Yamamoto and confronts Ichigo’s group. He is ultimately defeated by Byakuya Kuchiki and loses his power to Yhwach’s Auswählen.

Nianzol Weizol is a Quincy and member of the Sternritter under Emperor Yhwach with the designation “W — The Wind”. His ability lets him deflect or redirect attacks away from chosen targets. Arrogant and taunting, Nianzol mocks opponents while using his power. During the Thousand-Year Blood War, he protects Yhwach by diverting attacks during the palace invasion. Despite his skill, he is ultimately killed by Senjumaru Shutara.

Loyd Lloyd and Royd Lloyd are identical twin Quincy serving as Sternritter under Yhwach with the designation “Y — The Yourself”. Loyd can copy an opponent’s appearance and powers, while Royd copies appearance, memories, and personality. They developed their abilities through lifelong imitation of each other. During the Thousand-Year Blood War, Loyd is killed by Kenpachi Zaraki, and Royd confronts Yamamoto before being destroyed by Yhwach.
